A couple of weeks ago I was at my moms house and wasn't planning on swimming but ended up letting Hudson go out in the pool for like 30 minutes. I didn't have any sunscreen so I knew I wasn't going to let him stay out there very long since he has the fairest skin in the world. That night I was getting him ready for bed and I took his shirt off and his shoulders were beet red. (You can't really tell how bad they are in the picture, they were BAD!) We couldn't let him swim for a few days and then when we did let him swim I made him wear a t-shirt in the pool to cover up his blistered shoulders. Now he is all better and he actually doesn't scream when I put the sunscreen on him.

This is why we use Sunscreen!

oh so sad! that is horrible! did it actually blister? Did he know he was burned? was he is pain?
I have a worse story... but I dont want to go there (oh the painful memory is still too fresh) just know that I am a worser mama than you!
